Yu Nakajima

is a Japanese Rubik's Cube solver.

Yu holds the current world record for average (11.28 seconds) and formerly held it for single times (8.72 seconds) on the standard 3×3×3 cube solution [cite web |url=http://www.worldcubeassociation.org/results/p.php?i=2007NAKA03|title=Official results of Yu Nakajima. |accessdate=2008-05-21|work=worldcubeassociation.org] . Both records were set on May 4, 2008, at the "Kawashi Open 2008".He beat the previous world record holder Edouard Chambon, who had a single solve record of 9.18 seconds [cite web |url=http://www.worldcubeassociation.org/results/p.php?i=2004CHAM01|title=Official results of Edouard Chambon. On May 23, 2008 he posted a video on Youtube where he completed the cube in 6.57 seconds |accessdate=2008-05-21|work=worldcubeassociation.org] .

In addition, he is the current world record holder for the Rubik's Cube: One-handed event with the time of 14.56 seconds, set at the "Tokyo Open 2008".
