ABSA Cargo Airline (formerly ABSA - Aerolinhas Brasileiras S.A.) is a cargo airline based in Campinas, Brazil. It operates scheduled services within Latin America and between Brazil and the United States, as well as charter services. History

The airline was established and started operations on 2 June 1995 as Brasil Transair - Transportes Charter Turismo. In November 2001 LAN Airlines bought a majority stake in the company. It is owned by LAN Airlines (74%), Jochmann (13%) and TADEF (13%) and has 285 employees (at March 2007).

The ABSA fleet includes the following aircraft (at March 2007) :

LAN Airlines takes the airline’s 767 orders to 12 aircraft. The revelation comes as the first of the 12 aircraft batch, a -300F, was delivered to LAN’s freight affiliate Absa Cargo. A second 767 freighter is scheduled for delivery in October with the remainder of the 767s due be delivered to LAN and its affiliates by October 2008 [Flight International, 3-9 October 2006] .
