Reginald Hackforth

Reginald Hackforth (born 17 August 1887 in London, died 6 May 1957 in Cambridge) [ [http://www.aristarchus.unige.it/cphcl/schede.php?word=fn Catologus Philogorum Classicorum 1880-1980] ] was an English classical scholar, a Fellow of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and from 1939 to 1952 was the second Laurence Professor of Ancient Philosophy at Cambridge University.

Hackforth was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 1946 [ [http://www.britac.ac.uk/fellowship/directory/archive.asp?fellowsID=1688 British Academy Fellowship entry] ] .
