Release Dates

*The American release date has not been announced and delayed multiple times. Sources claim USA AT&T release date to be September 16, 2008; however, as of September 16, no further word has been received regarding a release date for the BlackBerry Bold. AT&T claims an exclusive release date later in 2008. CNET has reported the delay is due to AT&T demanding Blackberry make this model compatible with its 3G broadband network. This would be Blackberry's first 3G compatible phone. The Caribbean telecommunications provider Cable and Wireless which owns bMobile announced they will release it on September 5th, 2008.

Technical Issues

*On October 10, 2008, UK provider Orange suspended sales of the Blackberry Bold due to undisclosed software issues.
