Lizo Mzimba

Lizo Mzimba is the Entertainment Correspondent for BBC News. [ [http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2008/04_april/28/mzimba.shtml BBC Press Office] ]

Prior to this, Mzimba was a long-serving presenter, reporter and assistant producer for CBBC's Newsround between 1998 and May 2008.

He attended the independent Solihull School (When he was also leader of the Birmingham Schools' Symphony Orchestra) and The University of Birmingham, starting as a medical student before changing courses and studying Law. Mzimba was also a reporter for BBC TV's coverage of the 2005 UK General Election.
