The Mula-Mutha is a river in India, formed by the confluence of the Mula and Mutha rivers in the city of Pune. It forms a tributary of the Bhima River in the Deccan plateau. It passes through the towns of Pune and Khadki.It originates in mulshi near the dam.It is a monsoon based river and usually flooded in the rains and dry in the summer.However the rivers have become polluted in the city. Their confluence is at a village named Sangamwadi.A widely used bridge on the confluence of the rivers is known as sangam bridge in Pune.
