A. J. Pollard

Anthony James Pollard (b. 1941) is a British medieval historian, specialising in North-Eastern England during the Wars of the Roses.cite web|url=http://www.tees.ac.uk/schools/sam/research_history_local.cfm?pollard=true|title=Centre for Regional and Local Historical Research - Professor AJ Pollard, FRHistS|publisher=University of Teesside|accessdate=2008-06-05] He is considered the leading authority on the field. In addition to works on the Wars of the Roses, he has also written books on Robin Hood (2004) and Warwick the Kingmaker (2007).
