Århus Docklands

Aarhus Docklands is a project to convert the former container port, Nordhavn (lit. North Docks) to a part of the city of Aarhus. The area will consist of modern architecture and some high rise buildings. One of the biggest projects is the 142 meter tall Light House building, future tallest building in Denmark. The area will equalling the size of Trøjborg and have a view of the Bay of Århus and have a short distance to the inner city.The area should in the endconsist of approx. 700,000 m² of floorage for residental and comercia; purposes.This is a major step for the city and is a ground-breaking city development project which will attract international attention.
