Pembroke is a settlement in inland Taranaki, in the western North Island of New Zealand. It is located about 5 km northwest of Stratford. The population of the Pembroke statistical area was 1200 in the 2006 Census, a decrease of 21 from 2001. The statistical area covers a large region to the west of Stratford, not just the settlement of Pembroke.
