Montreal roller derby

Montreal Roller Derby, the first flat-track roller derby league in Montreal, is a non-profit organization that was started in 2006 by Georgia W. Tush [ [http://www.montrealmirror.com/2007/022207/news3.html Montreal Mirror - News ] ] . The three teams include Les Contrabanditas, Les Filles du Roi, and La Racaille. The 2007 MTLRDL championship was won by Les Filles du Roi.

The 2008 MTLRDL championship was won by La Racaille.

The Montreal Roller Derby League also has a travel team, made up of members from all three league teams, The New Skids on the Block.
