Stuart Cable (born 19 May 1970 in Aberdare, Wales) is the former drummer for the Welsh band, Stereophonics.

He grew up in the close-knit village of Cwmaman near Aberdare, and still lives there with his family today. [ [http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/music/sites/stereophonics/pages/stuart_cable_2002.shtml BBC Interview, 2002] ]

In 2002, Cable was given his own TV chat show, "Cable TV", by BBC Wales. He was sacked by the rest of the band in September, 2003, because it was claimed he was spending too much time on his new media career at the expense of rehearsals. Since then, he has had another television series of his own, called "Cable Connects" (2005) and had his own radio show on BBC Radio Wales: "Cable Rock". In 2005, Cable co-hosted the Kerrang Awards [ [http://kerrang.typepad.com/kerrang_awards_2006_blog/ Kerrang! Awards 2006 blog] ] and he also presents two shows on Kerrang! 105.2: the 'Cable and Caroline Show' with Caroline Beavon on Sunday mornings and 'The Rock N' Roll Years' on weekday mornings. In November 2007, he joined XFM South Wales and hosted weekend shows until the station was sold on 30th May 2008.

More recently, Cable has been drumming in his new Welsh band, Killing For Company [ [http://www.killingforcompany.com/about.php Killing For Company official website] ] , who not only were the first band to play the new Liberty Stadium in Swansea, but in doing so, supported the well-known British rock act The Who [ [http://www.killingforcompany.com/news.php Killing For Company live at Liberty Stadium, Killing For Company official website] ] .

He is also the temporary drummer for hard rock band Stone Gods, which is comprised of former members of The Darkness, filling in for Ed Graham who left the band due to health issues.
