Cawsand Bay

Cawsand Bay is an indentation into the extreme southeast coast ["Road Atlas of Great Britain", Eleventh Edition, Map 2] of Cornwall, ["Merriam-Webster's Geographic Dictionary", Third Edition, p. 1,223] on the south coast of England, in the United Kingdom, with its deepest penetration of the coast about 2.5 statues miles (4 km) south-southwest of Plymouth. The bay is oriented north-south, opening eastward into Plymouth Sound. It is about one mile (1.6 km) deep and about 1.5 statute miles (2.4 km) wide across its mouth. It is bounded by Penlee Point to the south. ["Road Atlas of Great Britain", Eleventh Edition, Map 2]
