Architecture of Serbia

The Architecture of Serbia has an history of 1,500 years and was notably influenced by the Byzantine architecture.

In the principality of Duklja/Zeta (medieval Montenegro), there are several coastal towns of Roman architecture, such as Kotor.

Serb monumental architecture is seen in structures of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the oldest church in Balkans is situated in Novi Pazar, Serbia, dating back to the 9th century.
