William Alnwick was an English Catholic clergyman. He was Bishop of Norwich (1426–1436) and Bishop of Lincoln (1436–1450). [citation|title=Runaway Religious in Medieval England|author= F. He was Archdeacon of Salisbury before being named Keeper of the Privy Seal on December 19 1422. He had custody of the seal until February 24 1432.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 92]

He was nominated to the see of Norwich on February 27 1426 and translated to the see of Lincoln on September 19 1436.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 243]
