"Sins of the Father" is the 119th episode of the television series "Third Watch" and the 9th episode of the 6th season.

Plot Summary

Faith deals with a muslim girl who was killed while Ty continues to investigate on his father's case. One officer is uncovered to be a rat.

Ty discovers that Sasha is a double agent.

Plot Details

After jogging in the morning, Officer Davis discovers the real I.A.B. file on his father's death, which we assume was sent by Sasha.
Meanwhile, Faith deals with a dead muslim girl, whose body was found at a public park. She interviews the girl's friends and family, and discovers that the girl was pregnant, which leads her to believe that her father killed her to get the family honor back. The man denies this, but Faith takes him to the precinct anyways. After new information gets to her, she discovers that she had a superstar boyfriend, and he was the one who murdered her. She frees the girl's father and goes to the teenage boy's house, but he escapes. She then chases him, along with John Sullivan and Brendan Finney. They finally catch him, but he speeds up and throws himself into the river. Brendan goes to save him, and thus prevents a suicide.While in the hospital, Brendan and Grace Foster decide to start their relationship again, and Brendan takes her to dinner.
Ty decides to talk to the department's top officer about his father's murder, and he tells him he will do all he can to uncover the truth, but then calls Finney when Ty leaves. Ty then goes to talk to Cathel Finney, and accuses him of being a corrupted cop, but Finney had planned a stage in which he told Ty about Sasha's I.A.B. cover. He then tells them that he knows they solves some cases with certain amount of corruption themselves, and threatens them both.
Sully talks to the attorney about his options on coming forward about Ty's father death, but discovers that if he did it, he would probably lose his pension for not coming forward 20 years previously, when the murder happened.
When Faith gets home, she meets Emily. She tells Faith that she talked to the jury, and that from now on she will live with her, with what Faith breaks down into tears.
