"Crazy Horses" is a 1972 hit by The Osmonds reaching number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100[1] and number 2 in the UK Singles Chart[2]. The song is claimed to be a protest about the amount of pollution created by cars[3]. It is a heavy rock style which was a major stylistic departure from the type of music The Osmonds were known for. It is one of their best known hits and has been covered by numerous other bands including The Mission, Tank, Lawnmower Deth, Neal Morse, The Frames and KMFDM[4]. Westlife covered the song live in 2003. The song was also covered by Tigertailz on the 2010 live album Bezerk: Live...Burnin' Fuel.
