Supreme Court of Syria

The Supreme Court ( _ar. المحكمة الدستورية العليا) is the highest judicial authority in the Syrian Arab Republic. The Supreme Court is a court of final appeal and exercises, judicial review over Syrian parliament. The Court also has jurisdiction to ensure compliance with the Syrian constitution by governmental bodies and private citizens.

Composition

Judges of the Supreme Court are appointed by the President.
