Golden Rivers Football League

The Golden Rivers Football League is an Australian rules football organization with a long history. It has clubs in both Victoria as well as 3 clubs from New South Wales.

History

Some clubs date back to the 1880's.

The League reformed after World War II in 1946 but was then established as the Kerang and District Football League. In 1998 the League changed its name to the Golden Rivers FL at the direction of the Victorian Country Football League.

Clubs

The League at present has nine teams competing namely:
*Hay
*Macorna
*Moulamein
*Murrabit Football Club
*Nullawil
*Quambatook
*Ultima
*Wakool
*Wandella.

All football clubs field seniors, reserves, under 17's and under 14's teams. All netball clubs field an A and B grade, with some fielding B reserve, 17 and under and 15 and under grades.
