Some Reulis and Cautelis to be observit and eschewit in Scottis poesie

"Some Reulis and Cautelis to be observit and eschewit in Scottis poesie" (1584) is the full title of a work of Scots non-fiction prose by King James VI of Scotland written with the purpose to describe and establish standards for prosody in Scotland in the late 16th century. It is often referred to simply as the "Reulis and Cautelis" ("Rules and Cautions"). It was principally composed for the members of the Castalian Band of poets.
