ICS Marketing Support Services is formally incorporated as Innovative Computer Services, serving small and large businesses by providing lettershop services, list strategy, and e-mail marketing. The company has been featured in Inc. Magazine's Top 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in 2007, charting the company's growth at 101.5%.

History

ICS Marketing Support Services started in July 1990 as a 5-person data processing and service, later expanding to other support services. Based in Lansing, Michigan, ICS now has approximately 50 employees working with over 150 clients each month, serving both big and small businesses coast-to-coast.

A few months after opening its doors, ICS landed its first big deal with Foremost Insurance, providing data mining services to build customer loyalty. Soon after, ICS realized its potential to expand business with other services, and began the GM Calendar Program fulfillment in November of the same year.

In 1993, ICS helped the American Cancer Society by organizing the donor communications and phone solicitations, which helped them manage the call center in the Midwest Section of the US.By 1998, ICS was again looking to expand, and added information technology, online surveying, and inventory software to its growing list of services. ICS first started to offer market research in 2000, and in 2002 they took on projects such as email lists and email marketing.ICS first started working with Two Men and a Truck in late 2004 by automating and updating their existing survey process, and still manage their mailings today.

Currently, ICS works on similar projects and manage NCOA (National Change of Address) for the majority of its clients. They also provide services for add agencies working with automotive companies such as Hyundai by supplying marketing resources such as Direct Marketing.

The company started to have mixed feelings about its long-time mascot, nicknamed "Icky", and in 2007, Icky retired.
