"Straight Tequila Night" is a song made famous by country music singer John Anderson. Originally released in 1991, the song was the second track to Anderson's album "Seminole Wind".

The song is widely considered to be Anderson's comeback single, after a down period wherein he had placed only one single — 1986's "Honky Tonk Crowd" — in the Top 10 of "Billboard magazine"'s Hot Country Singles chart during the past six years. In March 1992, "Straight Tequila Night" reached No. 1, giving Anderson his fourth Number One single, and his first since 1983's "Black Sheep."

A music video was filmed for the song, and has aired on CMT, TNN and Great American Country.
