The Movement (dance band)

The Movement (dance band)

The Movement was a techno act from Los Angeles California consisting of musicians AJ Mora, Richard "Humpty" Vission with rapper/DJ/producer/dancer DJ Hazze.

Their biggest success came in 1992 when their track "Jump!" went to number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart. The song also crossed over to pop radio and hit number 53 on the Billboard Hot 100, albeit with a major reworking of the chorus ("jump motherfucker jump!" became "jump everybody jump!").

Vission continues to be a very successful producer, remixer and DJ and he had more dance and Hot 100 hits in 1998 as a member of Pure Sugar.
