Lachlan Coote (born 6 April, 1990 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League. His position of choice is fullback, however he has also played on the wing. A representative for New South Wales and Australia at junior level, Coote made his first grade debut in the 2008 NRL season.

Early career and personal life

Coote was raised in the Greater West of Sydney and is a junior product of the Windsor Wolves. NRL career

After regular Panthers' fullback Rhys Wesser was ruled out with injury, Coote made his first grade debut on 27 June 2008 in the Round 16 clash with the Brisbane Broncos at CUA Stadium.
