Academic staff at EIT are highly qualified with real-world experience and teaching skills. The student-lecturer ratio is significantly lower than at a university. This allows a more personal approach and direct access to lecturers.

Employment Prospects

EIT aims to meet the demands of the region's key industry groups as well as the wider employment market, and networks closely with the community. Programmes such as Viticulture, Wine and Food Science and Nursing are unique to the region. The EIT Campus

Providing spaces that are attractive, exciting and special in order to diffuse the levels of stress involved in the learning process, has been an important feature of campus design. The boldness of shape and colour together with the landscaped, park-like grounds help students perform to their best ability. Leading-edge technology is used in the lecture theatres for the benefit of the students. EIT Anywhere is a campus-wide wireless network allowing students to use laptops or other mobile devices on campus.
