Cover Artwork

The cover artwork was designed by Val Denham. In the early eighties Denham had been designing covers for Marc and the Mambas and was asked to design the cover for “If You Can't Please Yourself, You Can't Please Your Soul”. The original artwork was designed in 1985 and had a small Mickey Mouse sitting on the desk. Some Bizzare were refused permission by the Disney Corporation to use it so it was changed. The seated man in the cover was known as “Zib Cisum” which was "music biz" spelt backwards. Zib was supposed to represent a music business executive. The telephone on the desk originally had a “psychic cross” on the front, this was a symbol used by the band Psychic TV; this was later removed. The little girl at the window was later added to represent Val Denham, the album cover's designer. [ [http://www.valdenham.com Val Denham ] ]
