Baseball career

Seattle would soon release Bourgeois and on December 19, by|2006, he signed a contract with the Chicago White Sox. He was recalled by the Chicago White Sox on September 6, mlby|2008, and made his major league debut on September 9.

He will forever be known as the last player to get his first major league hit at OLD Yankee Stadium.
