Introduction
On September 21, 2006, the Chinese billionaires Duan Yongping (Zhejiang University alumnus) and Ding Lei (Zhejiang native) co-donated once 40 million US dollars to Zhejiang University. 30 million USD was from Duan with 10 million from Ding.
The Zhejiang University General Secretary Zhang Xi and the President Yang Wei received the donation, on behalf of Zhejiang University. A ceremony was held at the newly founded Zijin'gang Campus.
