Roman Catholic Diocese of Pontoise

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Pontoise, is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic church in France. Erected in 1966, the diocese was split off from the Diocese of Versailles. Currently the diocese remains a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Paris.

The current bishop is Jean-Yves Riocreux, appointed in 2003. The Church Saint-Maclou became Diocese of Pontoise's Cathedral in 1966, when the diocese was created.

Jean-Yves RIOCREUX

Jean-Yves RIOCREUX, the current bishop the Diocese of Pontoise, was born on February 24, 1946. He was ordained priest on 1974, at Marlhes for the Diocese of Noumea. Prior to being bishop of the Diocese of Pontoise, he was responsible of the catechumenates for the Diocese of Paris.
