Greater Temuco

Greater Temuco is a chilean conurbation composed by Temuco and Padre las Casas communes in Araucanía Region, in southern Chile. Is has an estimated population of 363,964 inhabitants according to the 2008 estimations. His conception borned when Temuco is divided in two administratives units, making the urban area spread in more than the Temuco commune. It has an important portion of Mapuche people as well as european inmigrants, mainly Spanish and Germans.
