Sandra Peebles joined Univison's Noticias 23 as a weekend anchor. Currently she is a health reporter.

Biography

Peebles worked as a field reporter for NBC 6 afiliate of NBC in Miami (1995-1999).

Her first opportunity in a commercial television station was in 1993 when Telemundo offered Peebles work as a weather reporter. Peebles completed meteorology classes in Mississippi State University, which took her two years.

During the two years working at Telemundo, she also worked as an entertainment reporter. Peebles worked as a reporter, anchor woman in Dynamic Cablevision/Miavision, where she was an editor, worked the camera and learned everything in the business.

Sandra Peebles graduated from Florida International University and received a BA in Communications. She was also recognized as Alumni of the year in 1998. She is also an Emmy award winning journalist.

Univision 23 in Miami named Sandra Peebles its new health and lifestyle reporter.
