C Music TV is an international music television channel dedicated to classical, soundtrack and chillout music videos.

Founded in 2006 by C Music Entertainment Ltd, C Music TV avoids long form concerts and operas traditionally associated with classical music on television and instead replaces them with short form music videos, more widely associated with pop music.

The C in C Music TV stands for the genres of the channels playlist which covers Classical music (Andrea Bocelli to Angela Gheorghiu), Crossover music (Il Divo to Bond), Cinema music (film soundtracks from John Williams to Phillip Glass) and Chillout music (Lemonjelly to Sigur Ros).

C Music TV broadcasts on the Eutelsat Eurobird 9 (9° East) satellite to Europe, Eutelsat W5 (70.5° East) to Asia and AsiaSat 4 satellite (122.2° East) with Speedcast to mobile phones in Asia.

In June 2008 C Music TV launched a subscription service on their official website www.cmusic.tv in specific regions of the world. The channel does not carry advertising.

The channel is distributed by the agency Thema based in Paris. Thema is headed by the former Managing Director of Fashion TV, François Thiellet.

C Music TV relaunched its official website www.cmusic.tv in June 2008, broadcasting an encrypted simulcast feed of the C Music TV European satellite service live to subscribers in certain regions for a monthly fee.
