Samson Kimobwa

Samson Kimobwa (born September 15, 1955) is a retired runner from Kenya. He set a new 10000 metres wold record of 27:30.5 on June 30, 1977 in Helsinki, Finland. The record was broken next year by his compatriot Henry Rono. Before Kimobwa, the record was held by David Bedford of Great Britain.

Apart from the world record, his performances are not known well.
