Liverpool Business School is the business school of Liverpool John Moores University in England, located in the John Foster building on the Mount Pleasent Campus.

LBS today

Based in the Faculty of Business & Law, the business school is one of the leading components of Liverpool John Moores University and has over 5,000 students and 100 academics. The school offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research based programmes, with modules covering many aspects of business. The school is research based and engages in activities comprising of corporate governance, banking and financial sectors, Department of Health, local/regional health authorities and management research in the both the public and private sector.

As the Liverpool Business School is affiliated with Liverpool John Moores University, many students at the school study for degree qualification however the school also caters for members of the local community by offering short courses, training programmes and consultancy for a wide range of business activities including management development, business planning, organisational change, project management and social enterprise. School research

The school, since 2002 has adopted a policy of enhancing research activities for the researchers to ensure all are engaged in and focused on areas of research activity. The research teams aim to cover the majority of areas in business including Accounting, International Banking Economics and Finance, Sustainable Enterprise Research, Public Service Management, Development of Modern Economic Thought, Performance Management, Marketing ,and Project Management.
