Paul Solomon (July 7, 1939–March 4, 1994) (birth name William Dove [W. Alexander Wheeler (1999) "The prophetic revelations of Paul Solomon", Samuel Weiser Inc. p.24 ] ) was a psychic and clairvoyant born in Rogers, Arkansas.

Early life

He was reputed to have exhibited extraordinary abilities from an early age [Wheeler 25-26] . He was said to be able to read books through his solar plexus and leave his body consciously. These abilities were viewed in a negative light by his parents who were convinced that these abilities were of evil origin and Paul was forced to abandon his bizarre powers. At the age of 14 he was ordained minister of the South Baptist Church. In 1959 he got married, but after four years his wife divorced him and that marked for Paul what he called a “period of spiritual darkness”. He started drinking alcohol and smoking, experimented with sex and drugs and changed jobs many times along the way.

Readings and teaching

In 1972, trying to give himself relief for the mental grief, he tried hypnotism, which he knew was highly effective in alleviating physical pain. He first tried hypnotic induction with the help of an acquaintance, Harry Snipes II. During this session Paul Solomon started speaking with a different voice identifying itself as the "Source". That first reading took place on Saint Valentine’s night 1972. On the first of March Harry Snipes conducted the first recorded reading. Paul consulted his father over whether the readings where of a godly or evil origin. His father was convinced that it could only be of God’s work, because he had been praying for it. Paul Solomon then quit his job and focused on this work. Soon after the Fellowship of the Inner Lightclarifyme was created to support his work and research the readings.

The name Paul Solomon was suggested by the Source, meaning “Expositor of Wisdom” (Solomon being the symbol of wisdom and the Apostle Paul the one who interpreted and expanded on Christ’s teachings) expressing the way in which the Source viewed his role [Wheeler p.38] .

In 1977, he started teaching in order to pass his knowledge to other people. During the period 1977–79 he abstained from giving readings in part due to the poor following of the advice given through his readings and in part due to his belief that other people could do the same after some training [Wheeler p.41] . He also travelled to other countries to teach Inner Light Consciousness: England, Japan, and the Netherlands. Solomon is author of the book "The Meta-Human".

During his life he gave over 1500 readings [ [http://www.paulsolomon.com/ Welcome to The Paul Solomon Foundation ] ] under trance on various subjects such as spirituality, health, past lives, pre-history, life of Christ, Atlantis, future world events, location of missing persons, diet, etc.

He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for his efforts to help enslaved children in Thailand.fact|date=September 2008 He died next year on March 4, 1994.
