Misc = "Take Me on the Floor" is a pop-dance song written by Toby Gad, Jessica Origliasso, Lisa Origliasso, produced by Gad for The Veronicas second album "Hook Me Up" (2007). Lisa Origliasso states that when they were writing the song, they were "thinking about having fun, going to a club, being on the dancefloor." It was released as the fourth single from the album in Australia as a digital download on July 27, 2008. The song has been used in promotional ads for the 2008 season of Australia's Dancing With The Stars.

Music video

The official music video for "Take Me on the Floor" premiered on the 13th of August 2008 on the Hot 30 Countdown website. It brought many complaints for its footage of portraying lesbian like acts, such as two girls kissing and dirty dancing on each other pretending as if they were in the doggy style position.

The videos begins with one of the girls singing in a club while everyone is dancing. Then both girls start singing the chours of the song while in front of a blue background. It then shows a guy walking in. Then after the chours, the girls start singing in front of a red window with Chinese writing on it. It ends with both girls standing in front of the blue background again.

Throughout the video it cuts to scenes where everyone is dancing.
