Edelweiss Cheung (zh-t|t=張舒雅) is the current Miss Hong Kong, having won the pageant held on 19 July 2008. Edelweiss Cheung is 22 years old and stands 180cm tall, making her the tallest ever holder of the title. Edelweiss will represent Hong Kong at Miss Chinese International 2009 and Miss International 2008 in Macau. After her win as Miss Hong Kong 2008, there has been criticism in her winning the crown because she smokes and kissed her boyfriend in public. There has been rumors saying that her win was upon her family's wealth and ties with TVB.
