Alston railway station was a station in Alston, Cumbria. The station was the terminus of the Alston Line which ran from the junction at Haltwhistle on the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway.

It is now the terminus of a narrow gauge railway.

History

Opened by the Newcastle and Carlisle section of the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway it became part of the London and North Eastern Railway during the Grouping of 1923, passing on to the Eastern Region of British Railways during the nationalisation of 1948. It was then closed by the British Railways Board.
