"Rewind and Start Again" is the first single from Brandon Paris Band's debut album, "On My Own". It's about a guy who is alone after making a mistake of treating his girlfriend badly. He ends up depressed and can only think of wanting to go back into the past and do things differently("Hence the name "Rewind and Start Again"). Their debut albums' first single, “"Rewind & Start Again", was a huge success on commercial radio after being released on March 13th 2006. The song climed up to top 20 on the CHR Top 40 Canadian Charts (tracked by Radio & Records(Billboard Information Group)) [http://www.tandemtracks.com] peaking at #17. The song was added to sirius and XM satellite radio, as well as Galaxie Max Trax digital TV stations. Fall Out Boy named Brandon Paris Band as one of their favorite bands on Much Music In July 2006. That same week, Hedley also mentioned that they supported Brandon Paris Band live on air at Winnipeg's Top40 radio station, HOT103FM. Hedley also introduced "Rewind & Start Again" for the Hot 5 @ 5 Countdown at the same radio staton. Hedley was originally at the radio station for an interview a day before one of their own concerts.

Music video

In the original music video, Brandon is carrying an old television on the street where the story shows on the screen. The story starts with Brandon fooling around with another woman under the covers of her bed. The woman's roommate, who is also Brandon's girlfriend. The girlfriend becomes furious and gets in a huge argument while the roommate leaves. The girlfriend then grabs anything she can find of Brandon's and throws it out the window (computer, pictures, etc). Brandon tries to calm his girlfriend down but she kicks him out of the house instead. During the video you see shots of the Brandon Paris Band performing in front of the house.

*The album "On My Own", and music video was independently financed by Brandon Paris. The video was made on a $3000.00 budget and was later added to Much Music's "MuchOnDemand" once the song hit Top 20 status

*Video was produced by Brandon Paris, directed by Thaddeus Grant Fenton of Triton Films in Vancouver, BC. Filmed on location in Surrey, BC.

*note - At the time of the video shoot, Brandon Paris Band did not have an official drummer or guitarist, therefore asked his friend Sean to fill in for the drummer and Mark Ellis, producer/Ninjabeatz Studios owner, to fill in for the guitarist for the music video.
