Zhang Peimeng

Zhang Peimeng (born 13 March 1987 in Beijing) is a Chinese sprinter who specializes in the 200 metres. In the 100 metres he has 10.23 seconds, achieved in May 2008 in Beijing.

At the 2007 Summer Universiade he won the silver medal in the 100 metres and won a bronze medal in the 4x100m relay. He will represent his country at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Zhang represented China at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He competed at the 4x100 metres relay together with Hu Kai, Wen Yongyi and Lu Bin. In their qualification heat they placed fourth behind Jamaica, Canada and Germany. Their time of 39.13 was the eighth fastest out of sixteen participating nations in the first round and they qualified for the final. There they were however disqualified and placed at the eighth position.
