Floorball Canada is the highest governing body for floorball in the country of Canada. Floorball Canada is a self-governed organization which is recognized by the Government of Canada, Sport Canada, and the Canadian Olympic Committee [ [http://floorballontario.com/?page_id=72] , CUFF News - Ontario Floorball/Unihockey Federation] .

Floorball Canada organizes the Canadian Floorball Championships (CFC), as well as the men's, women's, men's under-19, and women's under-19 national floorball teams. So far, 3 men's and 1 women's team have been sent to take part in the World Floorball Championships. Organization

Floorball Canada is comprised of 4 regional branches/federations: Alberta (AUFF), British Columbia (BCFF), Ontario (OFUF), and Québec (QFA). The goal for CUFF is to have a total of 7 regional branches, which include those that already exist and 3 more, which are: Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and an Atlantic federation, which would include the 3 maritime provinces and Newfoundland & Labrador [ [http://floorballontario.com/?page_id=72] , CUFF News - Ontario Floorball/Unihockey Federation] .

Floorball Canada is a ordinary member of the International Floorball Federation (IFF) since 2001. Canada was given membership as part of the IFF in 1998. As of June 30^th, 2008, there are 1000 [ [http://www.floorball.org/default.asp?sivu=2&alasivu=205&kieli=826] , Member Statistics 2008 - International Floorball Federation] registered floorball players in Canada, which is 5 times the total of registered players in 2007.

Floorball Canada has undergone 2 name changes. It was originally known as the Canadian Unihockey/Floorball Federation, and then as the Canadian Floorball Federation.
