"Voss" is an
opera by Australian composerRichard Meale withlibretto byDavid Malouf . It is an adaptation ofPatrick White 's novel of the same name. The opera was commissioned by the then-titled The Australian Opera, and premiered at theAdelaide Festival in1986 .Commission
