Emmanuel Ake

Emmanuel Ake aka "Richard Muttendango" (born on 11th June 1980 in Mombasa) is a Kenyan international football striker who has spent the past eight season playing for different clubs in Denmark.

His mother is from Kenya, but father from Seychelles. He started his senior career with Black Panther, that played in Coast Provincial League (3rd level in Kenya). He then moved to Mombasa-based Coast Stars playing in the Kenyan Premier League before moving to Denmark [Daily Nation, January 10, 2004: [http://www.nationaudio.com/News/DailyNation/10012004/Sports/Sports1001200429.html Mulee's best 22 for Tunisia] ] .

As a 20 year old, Ake was signed up by Akademisk Boldklub where he spent four seasons - 2000/1, 2001/2, 2002/3 and 2003/4. He then moved to FC Nordsjælland for another two seasons - 2004/5 and 2005/6.

Ake was loaned out by Fc Nordsjælland for the second half of the 2005/6 season to Ølstykke FC. He was the clubs top scorer by the end of the season with 14 goals. In the next seasons, Ake was loaned to second division side Holbæk B&I where he also emerged as the clubs top scorer with 11 goals.

In 2007/8 season, Ake was on loan once again this time with First Division side Hellerup IK (HIK). He top scored for the club with 13 league goals but the team still got relegated to Division 2.

Ake is now at Herfolge BK after signing a three year contract. He joined the club after he was declared a free agent by Fc Nordsjælland.

Ake was part of the Kenyan team at the Tunisia 2004 African Cup of Nations and he made three appearances for Kenyan National team Harambee Stars. He scored the third goal when Kenya earned its first ever win at the Nations Cup against Burkina Faso
