Ardath is a small hamlet in the west-central region of Saskatchewan located on Highway 654, about 10km north of Conquest and is about 20km north west of Outlook. Its most notable buildings are a curling rink and a brick United Church.

Population

Ardath, like so many other communities throughout Saskatchewan, has struggled to maintain a sturdy population causing it to become a semi ghost town.

Prior to December 31, 1972, Ardath was a village, but it was restructured as a hamlet on that date.

Economy

Agriculture [ [http://www.ibegin.com/canada/saskatchewan/ardath/ ibegin (Adrath businesses)] ] is the top employment field with many surrounding farms and ranches.

Education

Ardath no longer has a school, but those who live in Ardath are sent to the neighboring village of Conquest which has a school that covers Kindergarten to Grade 12 serving approximately students.
