Ezekiel Aaron Moreno (Born October 8, 1978 in Chula Vista, California) is a Canadian Football League linebacker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. His brother, Moses Moreno, also played in the National Football League as a quarterback.

High School Years

Moreno attended Castle Park High School in Chula Vista, California and was a letterman in football and baseball. In football, as a senior, he –lead his team to a state championship in 1996.

College career

Moreno was the heart of the University of Southern California's defense from 1998-2000. Despite lack of NFL speed or size, he used Junior Seau-like instincts to be at the ball at the right time throughout his career at USC. Known as "Zeke And Destroy" by many USC-faithful, Moreno was a force in the middle of the USC defense in some of USC's leaner years.

Professional career

He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers with the 8th pick in the fifth round (139th pick total) in the 2001 NFL Draft. He played for the San Diego Chargers for 5 years (2001-2004). He is currently the starting middle linebacker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He was also selected as a 2007 CFL All-Star.

On September 9th, He was traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for a 1st round draft pick.
