Johnny Douglas composed the music to the 1971 hit film ‘The Railway Children’, plus 37 other feature films. He was also known as a Musical Director, and string Arranger. .He recorded over 500 tracks for DECCA and over 80 albums for RCA. In the 1980’s he composed & conducted music many video series, including the children’s TV animation series ‘Spiderman & his Amazing Friends’, ‘Dungeons & Dragons’, ‘Incredible Hulk’, & ‘Transformers’.
He was born in Hackney, London, England, on June 19th 1920,
