The University of Wisconsin Colleges Online, part of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, the freshman sophomore campuses of the University of Wisconsin System. The current Director of Distance Education for the campus is Barbara Stinson. The University of Colleges Online allows students to earn an AAS (Associate of Arts and Sciences) degree completely online. Students currently enrolled at a University of Wisconsin 4 year university (their home campus) can also take courses through UW Colleges Online to supplement their university course load. Credits earned in this fashion are transferred seamlessly to their home campus using the Transfer Information System (TIS). The University of Wisconsin Colleges Online uses Desire2Learn as its course management system (CMS).
