Tim Lane (rugby union)

Tim Lane (born 1959) is an Australian rugby union coach and former player. He started his coaching career at Manly where in one season took them to an undefeated premiership. He then was offered the Wallabies back-line job where they won the 1997-1999 Bledisloe Cup and Tri- Nations and the the Rugby World Cup in Wales. He then took over Clermont Ferrand where he took them to the final in his first year. Then coached the Springbok. In 2007 he was in charge at Toulon and helped them on their way to the Top 14. He's in charge of Georgia since February 2008.
