constellation name = Pisces
names = LGS 3, PGC 3792Pisces Dwarf is an irregular dwarf
galaxy that is part of theLocal Group . The galaxy is also suspected of being asatellite galaxy of theTriangulum Galaxy (M33). Because it is in theconstellation Pisces, thegalaxy is called the "Pisces Dwarf". It displays ablueshift , as it is approaching theMilky Way at 287km/s . It may be transition-type galaxy, somewhere between dwarf spheroidal and dwarf irregular alternatively, it may be a rare, but statistically acceptable, version of one of the two types.History
It was discovered by Karachentseva in 1976.
