Mlađan Janović (born 12 June 1984 in Kotor, SR Montenegro, Yugoslavia) is a current member of the Montenegrin National water polo team.[1]

Early career

He played for his local club Primorac. He was also a member of the teams from Marseille and Savona.

2008

Janović was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team who finished 4th in the 2008 Games of the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing. The team was defeated by Hungary in the semifinals and by Serbia in the bronze medal match.[2]

Montenegro won the gold medal at the 2008 Men's European Water Polo Championship in Malaga defeating Serbia 6-5 in the final.[3]

2009

Montenegro finished in 144 place at the 2009 FINA Men's Water Polo World League.[4]

Personal life

He is 1.9 m (6 ft 3 in) and weighs 93 kg.

Janović is currently romantically linked to Serbian professional tennis player former world no. 1 Jelena Janković since August 2008.[5]
