Lowesby railway station

Lowesby railway station (originally Loseby) was a railway station between the villages of Lowesby and Tilton on the Hill, Leicestershire, on the on the Great Northern Railway Leicester branch. The station opened in 1882 and closed to regular traffic in 1953. [British Railways Atlas.1947. p.16]
